Conqueror King
Registered Irish Draught Stallion (imp IRE)
Imported by the Corr Family from Ireland in 1998 as a two year old, King was bred by Kenneth and Fulton Buchanan at Coole Stud Farm in Donegal on the west coast of Ireland.
His arrival in Australia heralded a new era at Cushavon Park after the untimely death of Clintvara, also an Irish Draught stallion.
King was started under saddle as a three year old. He competed lightly in eventing as a four year old, moved on to do some showjumping. In recent years he has moved back to eventing again and loving it!
He has also competed successfully in Elementary dressage and has now started working and competing at Advanced.
King stands 16.3hh and has that unbeatable Irish temperament and an amazing effortless jumping style. He has a powerful extended trot and a balanced canter, attributes which he passes onto his progeny.
