The people behind Cushavon Park Stud.

Cushavon Park Irish Draught and Sport Horse stud is a family owned farm, based around the love of this great breed.

Sarah was first introduced to the Irish Draught by her parents Malachy and Ann who have always had horses and now look after the stud when Sean and Sarah are away at an event. They have both been a wonderful source of knowledge and support throughout the years.

Sarah and Sean both compete in eventing which is a sport ideally suited to the Irish Sport Horse. Sean has only been riding for four years and is already competing at Pre novice.

Conqueror King, Cushavon Precision Flight, Cushavon Cuchulain and Red Hugh are the main competition horses for 2009. There are also a group of up and coming young horses including Cushavon Paddy and Beauvara who are learning the ropes this year.

Amanda Park has taken the ride on Red Hugh this year and is doing very well with him. After some time away from riding he is the ideal horse for Mandy to be on to get back in to the sport.

There are many people who have purchased horses from Cushavon Park and are doing well on them across all equestrian disciplines.

Sarah manages the stud broodmares and stallions and also looks after many outside stallions during the breeding season. The stud facilities are constantly being upgraded.
